What now?


Midna had been crying loudly in bed most of the day, the sheet was over her body and you could see her face with the falling tears. Nick had no idea what he could do, he looked at Iso, who was lying in his arms.
    “Oh Iso.... what am I going to do about your mother......” he said.
While thinking of something, he flowed towards the bed and also went under sheet. Midna didn’t look at him, she could feel that he had Iso in his arms.
    “Please don’t push her so close to me....” she said.
She felt like she was dieing, this was something she also felt during her pregnant days. Suddenly Nick’s father came in.
    “What the hell is wrong now!?” he asked. “We had this crying last night, do we have to hear it again?”
Midna got even more depressed by the angry yelling father.
    “I don’t know dad, but Midna is very depressed at the moment, and your not really helping out right now.” Nick said.
    “There seems to be a problem with that girl every day, I haven’t had a single day where I could be assured every thing was okey.” his father replied.
    “Everyone has his or her issues dad, and she’s not having problems every day!”
Then a little disturbed mother of Nick joined the conversation.
    “John, come back down stairs, you’ve had a rough day. And Nick, please don’t argue with your father if he says things you know he doesn’t mean.” she said.
And with those words the conversation was over, Nick’s mother and father went back downstairs, and Nick closed the door. Midna feld a lot better after the words of Nick’s mother, but she still didn’t want to be anywhere near her daughter. Eventually Nick lay Iso back in the cradle, and then he went back to the bed, kissed Midna and fell asleep with her.
Midna didn’t experience any dreams or nightmares during the night, her mind was completely blanco. As the daylight filled up the sky with an orange glow, Nick and Midna sat down on the roof, while Iso was still sleeping.
    “I really hated what happened yesterday.” Midna said.
    “It wasn’t the best day we had.” Nick said while smiling.
    “Nick I am serious. What if I lose my mind completely? I might hurt you or Iso, or even worse, I would kill you…..” Midna softly said.
    “No offense baby, but your losing your mind right now.” Nick said still smiling.
Midna looked at the sun, the orange light that lit up her body made her feel warm. But the thought of her daughter and the disease changed that warmth into coldness.
    “What am I going to do Nick? What can I do to make this stop for good?” she asked.
Nick looked at his girlfriend, he wished he could say something, but there was nothing he could say.
Suddenly they heard Iso screaming, this would mean that she was awake and missed her parents. They flowed back into the house trough the window, there they saw their little girl reaching out her arms for her mother. Midna stared at her for a moment, then she looked at Nick, who knotted at her.
Slowly she flowed towards to the cradle, she took out Iso with the fear on her face, she opened her eyes and saw…..
